Spencer J. Colby is a Canadian-Trinidadian editorial and commercial photographer concentrating in general news, documentary and sports photography. Spencer’s editorial clients included: The Canadian Press, The Globe and Mail, European Pressphoto Agency, The Toronto Star, The Narwhal, The Winnipeg Free Press The Financial Times, Reuters Images, University Affairs Magazine (UAM), Canada’s National Observer, Postmedia Network and the Charlatan Newspaper. Spencer is also a writer, pairing his documentary styled photojournalistic work with words.
Outside of photography, Spencer is an avid outdoors enthusiast and runner who frequently enjoys long distance hikes and camping trips across Canada’s remote wilderness. When he is not navigating the great outdoors, Spencer is a passionate non-fiction reader and podcast listener.
